Based on requirements for a higher level of performance in-service which in turn, reduces the overall operating cost of the line.
ICME have done some activities as follow:
1. 220 KV Glass and Porcelain insulators cleaning, suspension and tension towers (Sirte, Zamzam Misurata, Alkhomose, Tarhona and Tripoli)
2. Optical Ground Grounding Wire (OPGW), the work have done can be stated as follow:
- Removing old Optical Ground Grounding Wire with its accessories.
- Steering Optical Ground Grounding Wire with its accessories.
- Install the joint box in proper place in the tower
- Weld the terminals of OPGW in the joint box.
